Art plays a central role in my life: it is the means by which I express my feelings and ideas. My paintings reflect my life: they tell the stories of what has happened to me, my people and human beings in general. Through the images that I create, I try to project my understanding of what is faced by people in this system, encouraging questions to be asked about what is happening in the world. I believe that art is key to provoking change and giving people hope that creating a better life in this world is possible. Art has given me the ability and power to see beyond objects, words and physical existence. With my compositions I re-create the vision of life, I discover the hidden meaning of our beings, and through the medium of painting I fly with the wings of colour over the lands of fantasy and history; it’s history that enriches my current understanding.  I have deployed different styles to suite my subject matters. Colours, lines, tones along with the composition are the vehicle that takes me through the journey of exploration and a birth given to my new works of art.
